Robotic cells and production equipment
Production equipment must work as a whole: part feeding, handling, inspection, operator interaction and outfeed. BP Sight combines robotics, machine vision and automation to study this chain.
Start with production needs
Together, we clarify product flow, variants, changeovers, cycle times and quality criteria. These inputs guide workstation design and the comparison of automation options. Footprint, access and interfaces with the existing line are considered from the outset.
Define a clear scope
A cell may combine a robot, gripping tooling, sensors, camera inspection and a control system. Supplies, integration responsibilities, safety studies and compliance requirements must be contractually defined for the installation.
Plan operation and maintenance
The project also defines operating modes, restart after a stop, operator-accessible settings and diagnostic information. Component access and documentation help teams carry out interventions.
Organise fine-tuning and acceptance
Feasibility trials, functional tests and acceptance conditions are prepared with your teams. Criteria may cover completed operations, inspection quality or cycle time within the agreed scope. They must be verifiable on representative parts and conditions.
What information should you provide?
Describe the operation and products, variants, volumes and cycle-time targets. Provide available layouts, equipment interfaces, operating and maintenance constraints, site location and the proposed schedule.
Project organisation
Our Villars base supports industrial projects across Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. Projects in the Toulouse region and Switzerland are organised according to scope, required travel and site constraints.
